Friday, April 26th:   Shooting Start Time: 3:00pm---HS and JH @ Higbee Wildlife Refuge 5 miles east of Lamar on Hwy 50

Friday, April 26th:  We will tie the goats Friday evening.  Time TBD and posted on CSHSRA Facebook page.

Saturday, April 27th:   Rodeo Start Time:  8:00 am --  High School and Junior High Rodeo

Saturday, April 27th:  Cutting & Reined Cow Horse Start Time :  2:00 pm both performances to be run on Saturday at Lamar Community College Horse Management Arena.                          

Sunday, April 28th:     Church Service in the Grandstands:  7:30 am  --  Brew Unto Others --- Grace Fellowship                      

Sunday, April 28th:     Rodeo Start Time:  9:00 am --  High School and Junior High Rodeo

Stalls/Camping/Hookup Reservations
All stall and hookup reservations must be made via the online form.  (Even if you have texted or emailed previously, you need still need to complete the online form.  You will receive an email confirmation receipt for verification.)  Reservations will close on Monday, April 22 or when sold out; whichever is sooner.
 

Pricing Information

Electrical Hookups: $50/weekend (most hookups have water nearby)

Stalls: $40/weekend

Dry Camping: $25/weekend

Prowers County Fairgrounds Information

  • Hookup pedestals have been labeled with reservations.  Per Prowers County: NO campers, trailers, or vehicles are allowed to plug into the electrical outlets in the pavilion (stall area).  Also, only ONE vehicle is to be plugged in to each pedestal.
  • Dry camping is allowed and you are allowed to build pens in designated areas.  (Per Prowers County: NO horses are to be tied or penned near any trees on the fairgrounds property.  ALL dry camping and horse penning shall be located in the south west dirt parking lot [south of pavilion where stalls are located] and dirt parking lot north of arena only.  NO dry camping and penning shall be located on roto-mill, asphalt, or grass areas.)
  • Catch pens at ends of arena and behind bucking chutes are for use by stock contractors ONLY.  NO contestants are to pen horses in this area.  Stalls are available for contestant use.
  • Please place tag on stall with contestant name and contact information (phone numbers) in case of emergency.
  • Stalls must be cleaned prior to leaving for the weekend and waste placed in designated areas.
